  • Conceptualized and Operationalization of programme in 1992 at UNDP, entitled Otto Essen Young Professionals training programme. The programme was a tribute to one of UNDP Africa’s foremost Resident Coordinator, a Nigerian, who died in Namibia, in active service with the UNDP. That programme provided opportunities for African Young professionals in country to associate with the UN system at the country level, through internships and subsequently formed the basis for design of other programmes for Africa’s Emergent Leadership (2013)

 

 

  • Joint UNDP/ UNESCO’s Programme- Foundations of Africa’s Future Leadership – operated out of UNESCO regional office for Africa (BREDA) in Dakar, Senegal. This project formed the basis for conceptualization and design of the following new initiatives during Ministerial tenure, namely:

 

  1. “Grooming” Liberia’s Future entrepreneurs, in concert with the University of Liberia and Liberia Business Association, supported by Ministry of Commerce and Industry (2006-2007)

 

  1. “Development” Diplomats training programme launched by the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Liberia with support of the UNDP –Liberia, in response to the imperatives of post conflict reconstruction (2009-2010)
